The island resort of Bermuda features extremely pleasant weather and a distinctive landscape. Even though people think of Bermuda as an “island,” it is in fact composed of approximately 180 islands, linked by bridges, and divided into nine picturesque parishes. But all of our islands feature spectacular beaches, lush vegetation and unique wildlife. It is a vacation-lover’s fantasy escape. And it features some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling adventures.
Snorkeling in Bermuda is another way to explore the territory’s underwater realms. You can rent snorkeling equipment once you get there, and some of the top Bermuda beaches make great snorkeling spots. Snorkeling in Bermuda is also equally rewarding for the children. The water around is crystal blue with excellent visibility. Snorkeling in Bermuda is fabulous: the water is so clear and the fish are amazing.
Just remember to be safe no matter where you go snorkeling. Be sure that someone knows where you plan to swim and dive and that they also know what time to expect you to return. Many people are injured or worse each year because they don’t follow this simple, common sense rule. If someone knows where you are, and you don’t return when you say you will, they can send for help.
Snorkeling is a safe and exciting sport and a wonderful way to explore an underwater area. You can explore all types of marine life that you normally wouldn’t be able to see. Be safe and swim within your abilities and you will have an amazing time.
